My first bronco was a 76 which I bought in 1993. I had wanted an early bronco since
I was a young teenager. This was uncut and bone stock when I bought it. I didn't take
any pictures of it before I started doing work to it since I didn't know how addicting
early broncos were at the time.
Unfortuneatly most of the pictures I took were after mudding.
This is what the bronco looked like before I sold it to purchase my 67 sport.
I added bushwacker rear fender flares to allow room for the 31x10.5 AT tires.
At stock height this was enought to keep the tires from rubbing. The fiberglass
hood scoop came from K Bar S and increased horsepower by allowing for a larger air cleaner.
I never did modify the already spunky 302 but I did add a hurst floor shifter
to assist in shifting the factory 3-speed. This shifter made the truck a lot more
enjoyable to drive.
